Thank you for presenting at NISTS 2024!

On behalf of the whole NISTS team, thank you for agreeing to present at the NISTS 2024 Annual Conference, “Full Steam Ahead: Leveraging Our Wins to Fuel System Change.” The event is just a few weeks away, and we can’t wait to share your valuable insights with our conference attendees. A Note About the Conference App

Instructions for downloading and using the NISTS conference app will be emailed to all registered participants approximately one week before the event begins, on or around February 14th. The app allows registered attendees to access the full conference schedule, session materials, and other helpful resources quickly and easily. It is very intuitive and easy to use, and both desktop and web versions are available to use.

ALSO KEEP IN MIND:

•    Session Evaluations At the end of your session, please invite attendees to complete a session evaluation. (You may use this graphic to solicit responses if helpful.) A direct link to the evaluation form will be available at the bottom of your session description within the conference app, and attendees must insert your session id# or full presentation title to begin. We will forward a summary of your evaluation results a few weeks after your event concludes.

•    Choosing a Presentation Template/Design

We do not offer/require conference-branded graphics, so please feel free to use whatever presentation template best fits your content and/or institution’s branding. If you’re looking for design inspiration, Canva and Visme offer an excellent place to start.

•    Presenter Resources

If you need ideas for developing your presentation content or slides, check out our Top Tips for 50-minute and 30-minute presentations. The American Evaluation Association’s Potent Presentations Initiative website also has a ton of helpful recommendations for improving your message, design, and delivery.  Other helpful resources include:

  • Canva – drag and drop graphic design templates

  • Freepik – find free vectors, stock photos, PSDs, and icons

  • Flaticon – search for free graphic icons in a variety of formats

  • Unsplash and Pexels – freely usable images

•    Conference Registration
As a reminder, conference registration is currently open. All presenters qualify for the discounted presenter registration rate, so be sure everyone on your session team reserves their spot by the February 9th deadline.

•    Conference Archives (FYI)

NISTS is deeply committed to providing quick and easy access to transfer-related educational materials to higher ed professionals everywhere. Unless we hear otherwise from you, we will post a copy of your session materials on our conference archives website in early summer 2024.
