Prior to joining the NISTS team in 2017, Emily held roles in testing, registration, and student orientation at a primarily transfer-sending, two-year campus. She has expertise in student development, instructional design, and teaching pedagogy, and is deeply committed to sharing information that is relevant, practical, and practitioner-focused. Emily earned a bachelor of science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and a master of science degree in Family Studies from the University of Kentucky.
